Study of Variants of Housing Buildings of Masonry Reinforced at Seismic Zones

According to the Cuban earthquake standard NC 46:1999, ERAD method was applied study variants of 2- 5-story reinforced masonry houses be built on solid ground S2 in southeastern Cuba. The modeling carried out with finite elements (shells) using SAP 2000NL v19 program. seismic load is obtained through equivalent static and response spectrum method. evaluation selected global local control parameters by comparing their results, changing number floors or floor coverings roof waterproofing, different hazard levels. confirmed conceptual design, simplified structural design resulting variants, distinguished level behavior.
